Competition Period:
The competition runs from Monday, 1 September 2025 to Tuesday, 30 October 2025. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM AEST on 30 October 2025.

Eligibility:
To enter, you must be:

• An engaged couple.

• Aged 18 years or older.

• A resident of Australia.

• Planning a wedding in Brisbane, Qld, Australia

​

Prizes:

• Grand Prize (1 winner): $500 AUD discount off any wedding package, plus a free ceremony consultation (total value $575 AUD).

Entry System:

1. Facebook Entry: Complete the sentence via the official form = 1 entry

2. Instagram Entry: Complete the sentence via the official form = 1 entry

3. Maximum Total Entries: 2 per couple (1 via Facebook + 1 via Instagram)
    

Entry Requirements:

1. Must follow Ted Johnson, Marriage Celebrant, on chosen platform(s)

2. Must like and comment on the competition post for each platform entry

3. Must complete the sentence: "Our love story is unforgettable because..."

4. Response must be written in a format, maximum 100 words

5. Submit via official website form (indicate which platform/s used)

Winner Selection:
Winners will be selected based on the creativity, originality, and emotional impact of their entry. The judge's decision is final.

Prize Terms and Conditions:

• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• All vouchers and discounts are valid until 31.12.26

• The wedding ceremony must take place within the Brisbane region by December 31, 2026.

• All services are subject to availability and standard booking conditions.

Excess Travel Charge
Travel 30km or more outside of the Brisbane CBD is charged at $2.00 per kilometre each way.

For example, travelling to and from a venue 80km outside of Brisbane would cost an additional $100 x 2 = $200.

Your personal information will be used solely for the administration of this competition. With your consent, it may also be used for marketing communications. All entries remain confidential unless the entrant grants explicit permission to share.

Content Usage:
By entering this competition, you grant Ted Johnson Marriage Celebrant the right to use your submitted entry (story/video) for promotional purposes, but only if sharing permission is explicitly granted. All entries become the property of Ted Johnson, Marriage Celebrant.

Winner Notification:
Winners will be contacted via email and social media (user handle or Facebook profile) within 7 days of the competition closing (by Wednesday, 8 October 2025). Winners must claim their prize by responding within 14 days of notification; otherwise, the prize will be forfeited.

General:
Ted Johnson Marriage Celebrant reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who does not meet the competition requirements. The judge's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
